And…if you are homeschooling, thinking about homeschooling, or know somebody that is homeschooling, you are going to LOVE this post!

Honestly, until the last few years, I didn’t listen to many podcasts. I wasn’t sure where to start finding the type of podcasts I was interested in, and it took me awhile before I finally took the time to dig in to what was out there.
But once I did… WOW!   I now have more podcasts saved than I have time to listen to!

As I dug, I also started finding some really great podcasts for kids that I couldn’t wait to share!
So a few months ago, I wrote a post with my Top 10 History Podcasts For Kids. I also have been going through my Free History Curriculum series and adding in some of the relevant podcasts I’m coming across, so keep an eye out for updates!
I’m learning that podcasts make one more super engaging way to have FUN learning History!

In this post today, however, I think I have found A PODCAST FOR EVERYONE !

Whether you are just delving into the world of podcasts, or this is old news and you’ve been listening to them for years, today I wanted to share a TREASURE TROVE of Homeschooling Podcasts !!
It’s not a top 10 list or anything like that, it is a new Homeschooling Podcast that pretty much has an episode for any homeschooling topic you can think of! I have never seen such a collection of helpful information for homeschoolers all in one place!

There are podcasts from some of the most well known and respected names in Homeschooling, like Rob Bell, and the folks from ‘Life of Fred’, ‘The Old Schoolhouse Magazine’, and ‘Apologia Science’;  as well as lots of educators I’ve never heard of, but now will keep up with!  There are episodes about everything from Homeschooling children with special needs, to teaching about Financial Literacy, world travel with kids,  how to homeschool on a budget, and teaching the “hard” subjects.
I’m pretty sure whatever topic you’d like to find a homeschooling podcast about, there’s one here for you!

The podcast is called The Homeschool Advantage Podcast with host Bex Buzzie.
I recently had the chance to chat with Bex about her heart for Homeschooling families.  Her passion is to connect our families with those who are creating curriculum and other resources designed for specifically for Homeschoolers.  Not every curriculum is a good fit for everybody (or even every kid), so she is swinging wide and covering all sorts of areas!
I highly recommend taking a few minutes to cruise around and save a few episodes to listen to!

Please don’t run!  I’d love to help and encourage you along the way, and most all of the people behind the homeschooling websites you find would too!   Most of us started out just like you… feeling shaky and wondering if we could really educate our children and do it well!  We’ve learned a thing or two along the way that we’re more than happy to share!

Maybe you are wondering why I was chatting with Bex.
