A Family Journey To Easter Devotional (Printable PDF Version)

What is the story of Easter?  Do you know it already?
When did it first start?  You might be surprised by some of the answers we’ll find in our exploration of EASTER!

The story of Easter starts a very, very long time before you might think.
Each day, for the next 2 weeks, we are going to be learning one “attribute” of God that will tell the story from the beginning.  Before we jump in, some of you might be wondering what an “attribute” even means!  And maybe some of you are thinking that it even sounds a little… boring.
READ ON!

If you think learning about God is a little boring, it might just be because you don’t know Him very well yet!!  As we discover what the story of Easter is all about, and why people all over the world celebrate this day, we are also going to be discovering WHO God is.  That’s where the “attributes” come in.  An “attribute” is just another word for a characteristic that makes someone or something who/what they are!  And I think you are going to see in these “attributes of God”, that He is the exact opposite of boring…
He is AMAZING!!

For this devotional, I only chose 14 attributes to tell the story of Easter… but I’m certain you could spend your entire life finding more of them!  It might be fun to keep a journal or even just a piece of paper handy to write down some of the other attributes you uncover!

And when you finish (or even if you don’t finish), PLEASE read the last page.
This page will tie these attributes of Jesus and the entire amazing story of Easter all together…
so that you can know it personally, and find YOUR own place in the story!

This devotional goes along with the He’s Alive! Family Journey to Easter Unit Study
You can also check out the entire Journey To Easter BUNDLE !

My prayer is that this year, Easter will want to make you CELEBRATE with all you’ve got!
