“The musical Las Posadas centers around a group of carolers who are invited into a Hispanic family’s home to sing. As they share together in song and Bible story, the children learn of the Hispanic tradition of Las Posadas and join with the family to create a Las Posadas experience. Leader’s helps include teaching ideas, craft suggestions, Bible study, as well as ideas for sets, props, and staging the musical.
This musical is designed for use by children ages 5-14, with the musical content accessible to children’s choirs in any church. Most of the music is sung in unison with an occasional second part. This musical is designed for a 25-minute presentation during the worship setting in the Advent or Christmas season. Reproducible Singer’s score is included as well as an Accompaniment CD”
