~ Psalm 24 ~

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 
He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 
In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. “
~John 1:1-4

Everything rightly belongs to the Lord.
That means the whole of the earth.
Seas, and lands, and animals, and the skies.
And, everyone who has ever lived on this earth belongs to Him as well.
Why?  Because we are HIS creation.

Who is this One to whom all things belong?
He’s the King of Glory!  Holy and Mighty!

So how can we, the creation, possibly come before the Holy Creator of all things like David writes about in Psalm 24?
We can come boldly to Him for the same reason we find in John 1:1, and in the very first verse of Psalm 24.
He’s the Creator.
Not only is He the Creator of the earth and all that is in it…
But He is also the Creator of our redemption and righteousness!
For “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
(Ephesians 3:12)

We sing together-  ALL the earth is yours LORD !

The world and ALL who live in it !
You ESTABLISHED it and set it into motion.

WHO is this KING OF GLORY ?

The LORD
STRONG & MIGHTY !

WHO can meet with you?
WHO can stand before you
in your holy place ?

Give us
clean hands
and
pure hearts.

Keep us
in your TRUTH
as we SEEK your face.

As we rise up
and stand
before your PRESENCE.

We declare-
YOU are the KING OF GLORY!
The God of Jacob
Our Savior
Our Vindication

The LORD,
Mighty in Battle !

OPEN ANCIENT GATES !
That the King of Glory
may come in !

WHO is this KING OF GLORY ?

He is the
LORD ALMIGHTY !!
